Forced air heaters work by cold air being
pushed through a hot flame by way of a fan behind it. They require a great deal
of ventilation, and are good for use at construction sites and in large
warehouse areas. Certain types of forced air heating systems are not recommended
for home use.
Forced air gas heaters can be powered by propane, kerosene, diesel fuel, or
natural gas. They are powerful and efficient heaters, and they will provide even
and comfortable warmth for any of your larger workspaces. If you have a crew of
employees that has to work during even the coldest winter months, a forced air
heater might be a wise investment for you.
Gas-powered forced air heating systems for the home had a bad reputation at one
time for not being efficient, and releasing large amounts of gases into the
atmosphere. However, great strides have been made, and newer models must comply
with government regulations that require forced air heaters to use 78% or more
of its fuel to produce heat. This means, for home heating, forced-air heaters
are now a safe and efficient choice.
Forced air gas furnaces require an up front cost for proper installation, but
will reap you money-saving rewards in the long run. Forced air heating systems,
when installed and used properly, are a great alternative to electricity-powered
heaters, both in the home and commercially. |
